Our Team
Alex Stoddard
As the Director of The Kid From Boston, Alex Stoddard brings a background spanning film, music, and basketball. Born and raised in Wellesley, MA, Alex is a platinum-certified music producer whose credits include Rod Wave's platinum album SoulFly and the gold-certified single "OMDB."
His debut feature, Sideline Story (2024), followed his Williams College basketball team through the realities of a Division III season. His second feature, The Kid From Boston, tells the story of Terrence Clarke, a Boston basketball prodigy whose life was tragically cut short. Alex played AAU basketball alongside Terrence growing up, and remains active in the Boston grassroots basketball community that raised them both.
Alex runs AStod Media, his production company, and leads all media operations for The Summer Draft League, a youth basketball league where he also oversees a media internship program. His love for filmmaking dates back to middle school, when he founded Game Time TV, a basketball highlight and mixtape company through which he made early-career mixtapes for future NBA players including Donovan Mitchell, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Bruce Brown, as well as a young Terrence Clarke.

She currently owns and operates The Office Lounge Dovah. Her son Jaden, who played alongside Terrence and Alex on Northeast Finest, went on to play college basketball at Middlebury, Indiana, and LSU.
